Merryn studied editorial and fashion styling through The Australian Style Institute in Melbourne and now collaborates with photographers, hair and makeup artists, designers and editors to deliver beautiful images and content.
As an editorial stylist Merryn enjoys being involved in the entire creative process, from developing the shoot concept, to sourcing props and accessories, briefing the creative team and giving the models direction.
Merryn’s editorial work is diverse and she is just as comfortable styling models on a muddy horse ranch as she is working in a professional photographic studio.
With more fashion brands now moving to online sales Merryn understands the importance of great imagery, and the use of storytelling to sell a product or launch a new collection. Recent clients include Winkizinc natural skincare company and Belle Couleur handbags and accessories. In collaboration with professional photographer Peter Foster, Merryn’s styling work has been featured in online and print magazines. Including Haute Punch mag, GEZNO mag and Horizon T magazine. Merryn has also styled editorial and the cover for 2019/20 Living Bliss Wedding magazine.
